Somethings never change

Harrison and Daddy love marshmallow treats. So here is a picture from the past and one I took from the other day of them enjoying their pumkin marshmallows. It looks like Daddy also has Barkey and Tweety on his lap enjoying the treats.

Creative Kids

My Darling Madeline was just a little to quiet one morning. She finally came and found Daddy and told him she was messy. He turned around to find this. She had gotten into some costume lipstick in the bathroom and managed to get it everywhere.

So we finally got Harrison to sleep one time in his own room. He

wanted to sleep with his dog Barkey and all the other animals in the house inside his giraffe tent. Now if we could just get it to happen more often we would be in luck, but no avail and several of his animals have moved into our bed including, Barkey, Bark, Tweety, Brownie, Sousa, Pony(who is a horse) Lucky, Lucky again and several others. He is really actually very good at naming his animals and comes up with the names all by himself. But bedspace is getting smaller....

Ohio fun!

Madeline and her favorite horse Jake!

Grandma helping Madeline sit on Jake!

Harrison and Grandpa working!

Mommy, Harrison and Madeline go for a ride.

Although we were there for a short time the kids warmed up right away and had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa had some farming to do, so Harrison went with him wherever he went. Then he helped a neighbor and Harrison eagerly wanted to help with the front loader thing. Madeline was all about the horses. She would walk straight out to them and call to them. They would come to her, especially her favortie Jake. I was watching her and she just nuzzled with him. She actually gave him a kiss. They did not know I was there. That little girl generally never leaves her mom, but when we are on the farm she doesn't care if anyone is with her she just goes to the barn and talks with all the horses. Harrison loves the horses, but he doesn't like to get to close. He was with Grandma when she was cleaning them out and he said"If you had another rake I could help you" much to his delight, Grandma had several poop scoopers and they got to help clean up several times! (I was worried they were trying to demonstrate they could take care of a horse if we got them one, but thankfully they didn't ask)

Great Grandma Roy's 90th Birthday!

We were lucky enough to be able to dart back to Ohio on our way home from Florida to be with Grandma Roy when she celebrated her 90th birthday.

More Disney

Here's a cute picture of Grandma and Grandpa walking together at Disneyworld! Harrison watches the parade with Grandpa. I would like to think Madeline will have great fond memories of our trip to Disneyworld, but I have a feeling all she will ever remember is that she made sure the buckles on the strollers were always buckled. If she was in the stroller they had to buckeled and if she got of the stroller the buckles needed to be buckeled. We quickly learned that letting her do this was much faster then the screaming fit she would throw if they were not buckled. Then trying to get anyone to pose is difficult so here is the non cooperative Tim, Sandy and Harrison in front of the castle. And lastly Madeline and Grandma being silly.

Here is a video of the kids! When you ask Madeline how old she is she always says 3! We tell her 2 and she says no 2 she's 3! So here is the kids discussing it!!! And lets hope my daughter doesn't always want to age by 2 years each birthday because she is already growing way to fast.

Epcot and more....

Epcot didn't appear to have a lot for the kids, but they managed to stay entertained. They had kid centers set up where kids could color different things along the way. Well we asked Harrison if he wanted to color and he said yes. He sat and colored inside the Aquarium portion of Epcot, so there are dolphins and turtles swimming around, so after he looked at those things he just sat and colored and colored and colored some more. We saw many kids come and go, but he continuted to color. He would change colors, (but not if I recommended it because his pen was dying, only if the man helping suggested it) Then he would stop and pet his dogs Barky and Lucky and then he would color some more. SO here is a picture of Harrison proudly displaying the final product. We went through the line of characters meeting several of them including, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, the Chipmunks and more... Here is a pic of Goofy tickling us while the kids try and smile. They did okay for the characters they would stop to take a picture if we were holding them, but they quickly wanted to move on. I think Minnie Mouse poked Madeline once and she found it both entertaining and frighting. Madeline and Tim got lost from the group so they sat down and enjoyed a soda together and then Madeline called me to find out where I was. And on our final day Harrison and Minnie Mouse oops I mean Madeline sat down to watch some tv cartoons in the hotel of our lobby.

Disney Continued....

Here are some more DisneyWorld pictures. While Madeline was sleeping we took Harrison to see Lighting McQueen and Mater, he was hoping to play on them or sit inside, but it was just a place to take a picture and then move on. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe in Downtown Disney where Grandma and Grandma posed for a picture! (Love the Hats!!) At Donald Ducks boat Madeline found the water and got soaked. It was fun watching her get wet, there was a crowd fo people that just stopped to watch her play in the water. Harrison stayed out of the water for the most part. And of course we had to ride Aund Sandy's favorite ride the tea pots. Aunt Sandy had taken Madeline the night before but then Harrison couldn't miss out on them so we went again. While waiting for the parade the kids enjoyed a nice cool ice cream. (I told Tim to ask for small ice creams and he came back with these hugh ones so we ended up eating most of it)

DisneyWorld!!!!

Well I am finally putting my pictures up from DisneyWorld. We had a blast. The view from our room at the Animal Kingdom was wonderful. We could see giraffes, zebras, pelicans, bongos and a whole lot more every day. The parks were a ton of fun. The kids loved most of the rides, they did get a bit tired and scared of all the shows. I think every show there is in 3-D with stuff coming at you. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to start Harrison off with A Bug's Life where the spiders come down out of the ceiling. Overall though he loved it. He really enjoyed the show with Donald Duck looking for his hat, because at the end he shoots out of the screen and ends up at the back of the theater. I think he knew right away we were somewhere special because the first morning there he looked at Daddy, saw Daddy and wanted a shirt just like Daddy's, thanks to Grandma they both matched along with Grandpa. On Madeline's birthday we had breakfast with the Winnie the Pooh characters. It was a lot of fun. The kids were a bit scared, but not overly so of all the characters, by the end of the week, Madeline wanted to see them all just not to up close. Well here is a little bit of our trip, I will add more later.
