Grandma came to visit over Thanksgiving holiday and we had a great time! Benjamin especially loved being spoiled as Great Grandma loved holding him. We spent most of our days at Grandma's house hanging out with Great Grandma. All the kids enjoyed the visit and we went to the park one day to take some pictures and here are some of them.

Tree hunting
We have started a great tradition where we get our $10 permit and go to the mountains with our friends to find and cut down our Christmas tree. This year I wanted the tallest tree we could legally cut and put into our house. I think everyone thought I was crazy, but it fit and looks awesome in our house!! (Our friends had a trailer to haul in home in) And heck it only cost $10. We had a great day. It was so cold, last year at the same time there was no snow and we didn't even wear jackets. This year I had heard there was a light snow covering! It was feet deep in some areas. Thankfully I brought some of the cold weather clothes. Our friends were nice enough to make us hot chocolate afterwards to warm us up.

The Newest Style
5 Months old!!!
My sweet little guy is 5 months old today! It does not seem that it has been that long. He is really starting to test out his voice and starting to grab at toys. He loves to suck on his fingers and always has to have a blanket to hold when he is sleeping. He is a little guy!!! He loves to smile and loves his sister and brother and always smiling at them.
Pumpkin Farm
We went Bishop's pumkin farm a couple times this year, since the kids love it!!! Madeline loved to ride the horses! I think it would be cheaper if we had one then to pay to ride them all the time, but thats what city limits are for! She snuck off and rode several times while the other kids where entertained doing other things. Harrison love the horses to, but he also took time to enjoy the other things at the farm. Here are a bunch of photos to enjoy!

Going on a toad hunt, Part Two
What's more exciting than having your friends over to catch some toads. Well really not much to these kids the night after Harrison and Madeline caught their first toad. Austin, Baylee and Riley came over and went on another toad hunt. Baylee and Riley were not shy about holding them. Austin and Madeline did, but they quickly handed them off. And Harrison is all about looking and not touching.

Going on a toad hunt!!
Harrison, Madeline and Daddy went exploring in our backyard one night last week. Of course they found a toad! Harrison was desperate to catch it. One problem he won't touch it. So he tried using a sword and a box to get it. He chased it up and down our back yard fence. Then he tried to get Madeline to catch it. But he was too quick. Finally Dad stepped in and helped them catch it (without touching it of course) The kids were so excited!!!
The catch!
